It’s been a month…

It’s been a month…

Today marks the one month anniversary of the November 2017 Election;  a historic election for not only the Parma City School District, but on a National Scale. More women ran for local office and were elected than ever before, and I’m honored to be one of those women.  On November 7th I left my house before the sun came up, I was hopeful that all my hard work, that of my running mates, and campaign team would end in a victory that evening. I spent the day meeting voters, many for the 2nd or 3rd time during the campaign. We talked about the issues the district faces, and the monumental hurdles that needed to be overcome to get this district back on track.  It was humbling beyond words to see the vote totals come in that night, because it was affirmation that all those conversations didn’t go unheard, that my words, and those of my running mates resonated with voters.

I want to thank the hundreds of volunteers that knocked on doors, made countless phone calls, and so many other contributions of time and money. There truly isn’t a big enough way for my to express my gratitude! I’d like to invite you to stand with me one more time. At 7:00pm on January 4th, 2018 in the Parma Senior High Auditorium, myself, John Schweitzer, and Steve Vaughn will be sworn in as members of the Parma City School District Board of Education; a seat I will bring integrity and respect back to. Please join us as we take the next step together to make our district excel into the 21st century.
